It just works. – My setup is definitely odd, and this thing more or less worked right out of the box. I had to do a little extra setup because I did not initially have sound, however that was not the device’s fault. I am using it over a distance of about 100 ft, and it works just fine. the remote extender works especially well, and I was surprised to see how easy that is to set up. the product arrived a day earlier than expected, so I am also pleased with that. If you power these from something other than the USB bricks that come with it, make sure they provide enough power. That was my problem.

So FAR – very good! – I had two previous brands and both had issues, the latest had an audio echo that was intermittent, they would not replace. This one seems fine, not pushing the limits, close by 15-20′ and 2 walls. no interference, came right up, no jittery picture with HD. I’m happy finally.

Great product – The DVR is in the attic of a 2 floor building. Had to send the video from the DVR to a monitor in the ground floor. In between transmitter and receiver there are 6 sheet rocks, the floor of the second floor and AC/heater/other obstacles in the attic. The crow walk (straight distance) between transmitter and receiver could be around 175 feet. The video transmission is excellent, no frame drop, not lagging and easy to install. I highly recommend others to buy it… 🙂

Works ok. – The unit works ok. The transmitted video is not the best quality. Problem is that it dose not support 1080i. Most of the signals from my Directv box are in 1080i therefore it downgrades the resolution to my main 4K tv to 720p. Basically, my receiver box only recognizes the supported resolutions of the transmitter.

Wirelessly Enjoying My Home Theatre – This HDMI extender has been an essential device in setting up my home theater. I was building a small home there area in my basement and I was running into a problem connecting my devices on my tv stand to my protector until I saw this wireless transmitter. This wireless transmitter has helped me connect all of my devices up to my projector with minimal wires and that is great for keeping my tv console’s wire management nice and tidy. I paired this transmitter up with an HDMI splitter so that I could connect 4 devices to my transmitter to get the most out of the wireless capabilities. I really liked how both the transmitter and the receiver are small so they were easy to find a spot to fit them in both the tv console and my overhead projector compartment. What was also great is how easy the setup was. Once I had the transmitter and receiver locations laid out I just had to pair them together and power them and the entire setup took less than 5 minutes. The signal strength that I get with having them only about 20 feet apart is really good it has stayed at max connection and not dropped once since I have been watching movies on it.

Simple hdmi setup – This hdmi extender works great. I can connect my desktop in my bedroom to stream movies on my HDTV in the living room. The picture quality is pretty good at 1080p. We watched a 2 hour movie without any frame drops. The signal seems strong even with a drywall inbetween. Another thing I like is that both the transmitter and the receiver are powered by usbc. So my laptop powers it and my tv’s power strip can power it without any attention adapter. I wish more company follow this trend and just use USBC to power all thing electronic. Anyways, the installation was pretty straightforward and it took me about 10 minutes to set up. I’m happy with the performance so far.
