GREAT TV – VERY HAPPY FOR PRICE (was under $900 when I got it) – If you have an LED or QLED TV: going from that to this is like going from a tube TV to a plasma or early LED TV. It’s a massive jump in resolution and color depth that you have to see in your home. You MUST BUY THE WARRANTY: this is Vizio’s first foray into OLED, so don’t be cheap and risk it. HDR has some issues on this model and there is no bluetooth. THAT SAID: If you have a non-OLED TV, this will blow you away. There is no contest. I have a huge new Samsung QLED “The Frame” TV….their highest end product, and QLEDS in 3 of 4 bedrooms. Then a super high-end LG OLED 77″ and this one. The 5K OLED is better, but not enough better to begin to justify the price. Generally, the HDR/DolbyVision performs well. USE THE JOHN WICK 2 OR 3 MOVIES (whether you like them or not) TO COMPARE RESOLUTION on your TVs. If you watch a few scenes on an ultra-high-end LED (QLED) TV and then watch on this, you realize that LED TVs are dead technology.

Settings out of the box are no bueno – Out of the box, “peak luminance” is set to low, which was barely bright enough for my living room. Once I found that settings when I went in “picture” and “advanced settings” and set it to high, it is much better. Picture quality is of course very good because OLED, although interface is quite slow on this TV.

VIZIO OLED55-H1 UHDTV – You can’t beat the quality of this VIZIO OLED TV for the Price. I give it 5 Stars but recommend buying a Center Speaker if investing in a BIG PURCHASE such as this.

Good value, not great for all rooms – Good picture quality, the missus doesn’t like that some shows we watch we can now see wardrobe mistakes and lighting problems (within the show) that we couldn’t see before.

Gets the job done, though some annoyances – Naitive tv controls suck. Good thing I’m using Google Chromecast. Picture quality is great but I have had some issues with selecting input channels which led me to unplug and plug the TV in a few times. It’s good for what we wanted but if you spend some more you’ll get a nicer experience.

First one I bought was a lemon. Second one works as advertised. – Upon arrival the tv would not power on past the logo. Did troubleshooting with Vizio tech and they suggested I return it or they could send a repair tech. I returned it and got another. Has been working but there is a problem with adding a fire tv stick regarding controlling the tv and a receiver. I have since figured out to disable the fire tv stick and the tv seems to be working fine now. One last thing is the advertisement says 4K@120Hz but that appears to only be for gaming not movies. Very disappointing but overall I still like the tv better than the one I had and the price was the lowest of any comparable oled tv. I guess you get what you pay for!
