VIQUA D4 Bulb Replacement – I recently ordered the replacement bulb for my VIQUA D4 System. First, it was an easy install; less than 15 minutes. Saved me a $125 service call and I noticed last time the tech did not clean the glass tube where the bulb is housed. I used CLR as recommended in the instructions. Glad I cleaned the tube because on the initial inspection the tube looked clean. After wiping it with CLR and reminding the tube with clean water, you could the residue that was removed. If you don’t clean the tube, the efficiency of the bulb is reduced.

They called back in a few minutes, only to tell me that they do not do any technical support, I have to contact the distributor who sold me the bulb. That was PROVISO. Called them, but their phone system would not pick up, only played their greeting message over and over. Could not leave a message or contact info. Went to their chat bot, but that was of no use. So on a Friday afternoon, I am left with a useless water system and likely no call back before Monday.
