Good easy to use latch – I like this bracket. I like the simple release mechanism for disconnecting the bracket when you want to take the tv off the wall. Other brackets are more complicated and more difficult to release. This one looks strong and safe, yet simple. One thing I do not like is the width is not wide enough. The bracket is only 17 inches wide. Most houses where I live have wall studs 16 inches apart, and I was not able to use this bracket because my studs are not perfectly straddled where I want the tv (horizontally speaking). The bracket must be anchored on two studs and with the short length, this means the tv placement on the wall is limited to be in specific locations, which are likely not where you want it. Make a wider bracket!
