      Money welll spent – I purchased this television for my autistic teen who wasn’t really interested in tv. With the ability to stream, variety of channels and ease of use hes now giggling at programs . I’m just happy to hear him laugh

      Set up was quite easy. Instructions were very good. – I liked this TV, instructions for set up is very easy to follow and the picture is excellent.

      Perfect for its purpose – We bought this to replace a bedroom tv. Setup couldn’t have been easier. Plenty of inputs and a straightforward remote. Picture quality isn’t perfect, but it’s 60hz so it’s to be expected. (And it’s a giant improvement over the glass tube tv it replaced.) This is not a primary tv for us though. We wanted a quality smart tv for our bedroom and this nails it. I cross shopped other sellers i.e. BestBuy and Amazon had the best price.

      UPDATED – What Were They Thinking?!! – I’m updating this review, I’ve since learned that the light on the bottom front of the TV was blinking because the TV was not connected to the internet. The light goes off when the TV is in operation now; however, it is still a distraction to me when falling asleep as it shines, but does not blink. So, this TV would rate a 5 were it not for the fact that it has a small white blinking light on the bottom center front of the set. What were they thinking?!! I don’t understand how TCL could think that anyone would not be distracted by a bright white blinking light as they try to view their favorite show. That’s just insane! I have an earlier model which, while it has a light on the front, it is obscured and does not distract one’s eye from the program being viewed. All other features work well. The only reason that I did not return the TV is that I had already attached it to the TV stand and I found one of those small circular bandages works perfectly to shade the blinking light so that it is not a constant blinding distraction. What were they thinking??
