Solidly Built but Sanus Skimped on Screws. – The Good: The product itself is sturdy. The packaging is much smaller than I expected which is great. Its solid and doesn’t have the flimsy bendable aluminum feel of other mounts I have had and seen first hand. The instructions are very simple. The phone support has an actual human being on the line that picks up after only one or two forwards which gets a star for that alone! The design is open so you can run cables into the wall through a variety of locations.

Fine product, but you probably don’t need to spend this much if you are competent – I bought this to mount a 65 inch television on a wall over a fireplace. The main reason I picked this one is its ability to make leveling adjustments post-installation. Since I had never done this before, and I lacked confidence in my TV-hanging abilities, I thought it likely that I would need to make some leveling adjustments. As it turns out, I am awesome when it comes to reading a level, thus I installed the thing perfectly level and did not need to make any adjustments. So a few months later when I had to do it again (different house), I bought a different wall mount for about $30, which did not come with the ability for post-installation leveling-adjustments, because I love to gamble and I bet on myself. And again, because I can read a level, it all worked out well, and knowing that I spent $100 on this one when I could have spent $30 filled me with regret.
