Refurbished – Just like new! – This television was refurbished by Amazon’s professionals and I would never be able to tell the differene. But I saved hundreds of dollars over buying something new. If a refurbished item is available, I would highly recommend purchasing it – you can’t go wrong.

Great picture, not a good PC monitor, smart apps initially problematic – The picture on this TV is great. I would bet money that most or all of the people complaining that it’s too dim is because they didn’t turn off “Eco Solution” mode, which is enabled by default. Eco Solution mode automatically dims the screen to reduce power consumption and also based on your room’s ambient light. I turned everything off in that section of the settings and this TV is plenty bright. I have zero complaints about the picture. Colors are vivid, the image is sharp, contrast is good. Even 720p OTA content looks fantastic; I have a window antenna plugged into this TV and I get a lot of local channels and most of them look really good. By default, the Auto Motion setting is turned on, so you will get Soap Opera Effect unless you turn that off. A lot of people hate Soap Opera Effect; it didn’t bother me with The Hobbit and it doesn’t bother me now, but get I why some might hate it.

– We are very happy with this TV , it is not easy to find top notch TV’s in 32 inches. We have a large book shelf unit in our living room and we need a TV that fits into it since there is no other location in the room where we place a TV set. We could not find top quality TV in that size in stores in our area so finding this one on Amazon was terrific. The vendor “Gibby’s Electronic Supermarket” is excellent and the delivery came ahead of schedule which is always a nice surprise. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and the service we received.
