The Waz is wrong – I spent about 30 seconds searching the Internet to find that… you only need about 25Mbps (small b) to stream 4k content. But it’s 8k, you say? oh, well when that content becomes available to stream it only needs about 50Mbps. keep in mind 8 little “b”s equal 1 big “B”… soooo… why does it matter if this TV only has 100MB ethernet port? (yes, it’s cheap of Samsung, but there is no technical requirement for it.)

BEST DAMN TV I EVER SAW!!! – This TV is BEYOND INCREDIBLE! My face gets tired from smiling so much every time I watch my shows. The picture is bright and vibrant. Black and Colors are past realistic and fabrics are detailed beyond belief. Daylight scenes place you right in the action! The realism is off the charts! Set up was easy and with all the new streaming shows and movies coming out this Fall, Winter, and Spring, I may need a few Welfare checks to make sure I’m OK!!! One day I hope I can relax and watch this SAMSUNG 85-Inch Class QLED Q950T Series – 8K UHD Direct Full Array Quantum HDR 32X Smart TV the way it was intended because now, I’m just too busy counting hair follicles, and other blemishes!!! =D

Confirmed: 100Mbps Ethernet Port – I just got off chat with the Samsung Pro’s on their website and they confirmed that the top speed for the ethernet port on this $13,000 TV is 100Mbps. I was set to buy this TV but I will not dish that kinda $$ for something that I can’t stream content to at anything better than 100Mbps. Yup I know it has wifi that can agruably go faster but I don’t want to tie up my wifi watching TV when I have enough other users all battling for that bandwith.

Maybe the worst purchase I have ever made – The picture quality is great. However, the Tv does not recognize anything plugged in to an hdmi port, the remote regularly becomes unpaired, the built-in AppleTv only plays 50% of the available titles. Samsung techs told me to reset the computer to factory default. Now I cannot get past the opening welcome screen. Sound quality was terrible and I needed a new motherboard. The built in Alexa is severely limited in its search capability and is essentially useless. All in all, do not go near this TV.
