It’s amazing – The picture is fantastic as is the sound. We’ve had no issues whatsoever. Getting the remote set up was a bit tricky. But once that was done, the rest was simple. My husband uses it as his computer monitor as well. The graphics for Witcher were beautiful already. This TV makes it even better.

2022: $2100 for stunning visuals. Step up to 8K. Wow. – My One Plus 9 5G phone photo from NYC WABC CH7 here in NY does NADA/NOTHING for the clarity of this TV with 4K material off of YouTube or the Apple TV 4K device. OMG. I’m coming off an eight year HAPPY ride with a 55″ Samsung 1080P which still works PERFECTLY after EIGHT years of use and probably averaged about 10 hours of ON time per day with my beloved, stay at home wife, dealing with M.S…. Samsung TVs RULE for us… we’ve done their old 50?” plasma TV and then the 55″ 1080P LED, from 2014, officially retired this morning. It was time to upgrade to (at least) 4K. The reviews I read on the 4K Neo QN90A were stellar and I had my sights on one (at 75″)…. but then the Samsung ‘B’ TVs came out in April, 2022 and the ‘A’ model prices DROPPED significantly. Even the 8K panels…. I thought: What *about* an 8K??? I read about and watched multiple YouTube reviews of the QN800A from 2021 and all were stating the “differences” between the QN800A vs the QN900A were negligible – especially in my eyes. The top two (non OLED) TVs, period, were Samsung. I didn’t want OLED for that burn in potential…. Mostly, the differences between the 800 and 900 were sound related, i.e., Dolby Atmos vs non Dolby Atmos and maybe some rather picky video “blooming” issues. Neither were an an issue with me as we have a solid surround sound system driven by Polk Audio towers and an Energy subwoofer, rattling the occasional wine glass off their hanger in the past. Blooming? Blooming idiots, IMHO. We bought the 65″ QN800A and it sits perfectly on our entertainment stand, thanks to the center mounted pedestal. Upon firing it up, the firmware update check started and indicated we had the latest version out of the box: today’s date being April 22, 2022. Win win! The Amazon crew that showed up and delivered the box, an experienced female with new male associate; they had not ever set up the newer center mount TV, so I broke out a YouTube video of the assembly. All went well and they were professional, courteous and friendly and I was happy to lend an eager, anticipatory hand in the process. Prime Membership brings that “Prime Delivery/Setup” option and is worth it. POWER ON. The QN800A picture is stunning right out of the box. After the crew left, my wife and I went to YouTube for some 4K scenery and animal videos and were *blown away.* It lived up to my recent sleepless night dreams of what 8K can do. We tuned into a replay of a NY Yankees baseball game (not in 4K YET) and it looked fantastic. The 8K processor really amps up the 4K video content…. next step will be finding some 8K material on YouTube. I bought four 8K data certified HDMI 2.1 cables to handle the high data throughput and they are living UP to the data transmission demands. VERY, VERY, VERY happy with this TV in the first 10 hours of use… Wowza! We did Apple Air Streaming and tested my Android phone with no issues on screencast…. SIZE: The 65″ does FINE for us with our seating 10 feet from the screen. 75″ would have been great (we have a vaulted room for a 100″ TV, maybe not the expendable $$$) but at $1000 more for the 75″ step up, meh… we’re HAPPY! BUY THIS TV, size regardless! Hopefully you don’t receive one with any shipping defects (likely due to mishandling/shipment dings)… Good luck!

Best TV on a well lit and dark room! – I live in an apartment building with a bright window. I was thinking of QD OLED but can’t wait. Thankfully I got this QD LED! This is way brighter than OLED and can barely fight off the reflections. I also have read so many reviews about the Blooming effect took a gamble, so far I didnt any on my TV. With the price of $1,997 this TV is more premium than qn90b , picture quality can be debateable but specswise this TV is the best 65″ under 2k including OLED TVs!

Missleading advertisments – Let me start off by saying the picture quality and build of the TV are amazing. I used to not watch TV much but bought this and I find myself drawn to watching things on my TV instead of computer. My issue with the TV is that Samsung said they have a product with Multi view enabled. Instead of it being compatible with any app, you are limited to the TV source, Youtube, and Youtube TV, along with mobile device. What is advertised it the ability to have ESPN up on one side of the screen and have something up on the other. This is not true. You are unable to have a baseball game up on the left side of the TV unless you get that on cable because only the 4 input devices I mentioned earlier are able to use multi view. Do not buy it for this reason because it does not work as you would think. If only buying the TV for the picture quality it is 100% worth it and the color contrast is amazing.

May come with dead pixels – I like they enhanced gaming features, but the dead pixels were an eye sore.and ruins the experiense

Doesn’t disappoint. – WOW! Great picture and fantastic features. Alexa is a great addition. The 8k video from YouTube are life like. The packaging was well thought out, you don’t have to lay down the 85″ TV anymore to install the stand. They utilize the side packaging to support the TV while installing the stand. It takes two people to lift it if you are planning to place it on a cabinet or mount it on the wall. The setup was easy after resorting to search the online manual to determine why the remote would not function. The ‘Quick Setup” guide failed to mention the need to “pair” the remote to the TV by pressing the ‘Return’ and ‘Pause’ buttons simultaneously for a second. But that is only complaint. The TV doesn’t disappoint.

Broke after 1 year – Not worth the money. We bought this august 2021 and September 2022 it wasn’t feeding through the cable box. Cable company came out and said it’s the tv. The box and cable work on our other tv. He said the computer inside the tv is not reading the HDMI anymore

The One I Wanted! – The Picture is incredible and the built-in sound system is way better than expected! I was surprised that the TV tuner/CPU is a separate unit. This is part of the reason for the rating of 4 stars vs. 5 stars. The tuner unit doesn’t feel very secure the way it attaches to the TV. However, there hasn’t been any problems with the tuner once everything is set up and in place. I guess I was just worried because this TV is an investment. I do like the functionality of the remote. There are a LOT of smart features on this tv. There is a learning curve to figure out how to access all features, functions, and settings. Basic use is very straight forward. Enough can not be said about how amazing, vivid, and bright the crystal clear picture is to behold. I will enjoy this TV for years to come.
