Cheaper to keep – It cost more than 1/2 the price to return. It’s cheaper to keep it and, if necessary, throw it away

Did not work initially but did after . . . – I was initially upset that the remote did not work when I put new batteries in it and pointed it toward the TV and pushed the power button and nothing happened. After trying another set of new batteries from a different batch, the remote still did not work. Finally, I unplugged the TV, waited a minute, then plugged the TV back into outlet. Then, I pointed the remote at the TV and pushed the power button and the TV turned on! So, it’s trial and error when you don’t succeed at first.

Everything on the remote works like it’s supposed to except the short cut buttons at the bottom of the remote. Only the prime video button works correctly but the HBO one opens a different app than the button shows. I’m sure there’s a way to change that. But the voice control, volume, power, channel button, menu navigation, all work perfectly. That’s all I ever use so I don’t mind the few shortcut buttons not working cause I tend to change what subscriptions I have (Netflix, hulu, HBO, prime, etc.) It looks identical to the factory remote aside from a few extra shortcut buttons that don’t work. But again, for menu navigation, volume, channels, power, voice control, It’s all perfect!
