Great rotor – I’m a cable cutter for approx three years now. Installed outdoor antenna and pointed to direction of a trasmitter but could not It get the most of the signal throughout the channel band. This the antenna rotor was able accomplish the most channels on one set direction and can fine tune the antenna direction as required from my seat w/o going to the roof. Some how my tv signal improved with this rotor and only added 12” in height to my antenna. The antenna is 5’ high from the tile roof and 25-30’ high from the ground.

Good construction quality and easy to install. – This is an excellent unit for the money. The breakking is excellent and so far after 50MPH WINDS has kept 100% in alignment. When installing I set 0 as magnetic north. After multiple rotations it is still dead on. This is not the heaviest duty rotator on the market. It has to be used within it’s capacities. If the intention is to swing a 20 meter amateur antenna then this is not the right rotator. I have the new ChannelMaster Pro antenna for TV and it is flawless. My only issue is the remote. It is very erratic and it only works sometimes. Have not had time to deal with it. I just push the button on the control unit and it is fine. Very easy to set up and program. Everything is included EXCEPT control cable. Easy enough to get at hardware store or order with rotator order. The 12 presets are very handy. I only need to use 4 of them to aim at the transmitter farms. Takes about 15 seconds to fully swing to alignment with tower. If you set up initially with either true or magnetic nort.h, it makes it very easy to aim. Find the location of the tower on any number of databases, turn the antenna to the direction using the controller display and push the preset button you wish to use.

Good overall product but my remote failed after 10 minutes – I general I liked the product; it is comparable to the no longer available Channel Master rotator. It is heavy duty and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, my Remote control failed after 10 minutes of working on the rotator setup. I had to finish with the buttons on the front of the control box.

Mounting bolts too long – I have the same model for my tv antenna and purchased this one for my 2 meter beam antenna. It works great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the mounting bolts are too long. A simple trimming or doubling of mast ( Superstrut and 3/4” pipe on this application ) worked fine. Connecting the wires to the controller requires patience if you don’t have small fingers. I would highly recommend this product to someone needing an antenna rotor for full size tv antenna ( mine is from 1988 lol ) or a 2 meter Yagi .
