Get the old game systems out – This item was purchased so we could hook up old gaming systems to a new tv that only has an HDMI connection. Pretty simple to use, hook up the old connectors to one side, the HDMI cable into the other side and than into the TV. The unit does require power to work but the cord is supplied and is simply a connection in the back of the tv.

Good converter – I use this to connect my N64. Works alright. Sometimes the picture cuts out and says there’s nothing connected. The N64 works fine with an old TV, so I’m relatively positive it’s not the N64 connection and it’s something with the converter. It only happens intermittently, so it’s not a huge deal given the price
