Works, but MAY NOT WORK FOR *YOU.* Here’s why: – Let’s make this crystal clear. Even if the device *is installed and working properly,* you may not get satisfactory results. The problem may not be the device itself, and apparently, in most cases, you won’t ever see a problem. But if you do, it’s probably this:

Great buy, and a necessity for PS2 on Modern TV’s. – It works great and took no time to set up. You do have to use one of the front USB ports to power it, but it doesn’t take away from anything. The only drawback whatsoever is that it feels just a tiny bit too heavy for the rear port if your PS2 is laying down like I use mine, so I put a very small folded cloth (anything will work) underneath it to support it so it doesn’t break if it were to be bumped. Absolutely great to have and makes it so much easier to start up the PS2 and get gaming. Worth it yo.

May have to reset console – I recently moved and dug my old ps2 out of my parent’s basement. I opened it up, cleaned it out, turned it on with this device attached and was met with a static screen. After hitting reset, it played perfectly! Make sure you check the Playstation’s settings to make sure it works with your television!

Was on the fence about this, happy I made the buy! – The wife and I purchased a new 4K TCL Smart TV back in November of 2021 and one drawback is the TV didn’t have any RCA or Composite ports! Only HDMI!

And then I came back and read the description here which should be on the actual manual notes they send you in the box which isn’t. Try this below if you can’t get this to work. Also be sure to try different HDMI cords and different TVs to be sure you don’t have a bad cord or a TV that doesn’t accept the signal.

USB power supply – Works like it supposed too but doesn’t require usb power supply cable like it suggested , I tested with and without picture looks the same either way.

Not Great but that’s ok – The picture quality is (imo) a bit better than just running it through a generic component to HDMI adapter. But overall the picture isn’t that much better compared to original video. With that said, the device is super cheap, it’s stupid easy to setup and I like how it plugs directly into the console so I can just leave it in. Overall, i’m glad I have it as opposed to not.
