Great Replacement – I have bought this item twice now. The first time was to replace the remotes for my sons. One who lost his original remote and the other the dog chewed. There is no programming for the tv which is great. Just pop in batteries and you are good to go. I purchased the second set because again one of my sons, the remote did break (this was over a year that he had the remote), and the other was because my daughter got hold of mine and chewed it so her drool was inside. I am thankful that these are easy to use and get since I do not like complicated remotes that have to be programmed to the tv to use.

Instantly worked! – We had one of our two remotes that wasn’t working consistently, so we ordered these. As soon as I put the batteries in, it immediately worked. And the direct link buttons at the bottom are all channels we have and use, unlike the ones on the old remotes. The buttons are also quieter than the remotes that came with our tvs originally.

The remote buttons are easy to push and the TV is responsive (some I’ve purchased before have had to be pressed a few times to get it to work). The price is great, and now I have an extra at home for when it inevitably happens again. The only downside is that there are no batteries included, but I’d rather have the 2nd remote.

It is a plot to end the world (or my little world by rendering my remote either missing or broken) It is a plot of galactic proportions. I keep getting new remotes to replace those rendered useless. Damn you space aliens, but thank goodness Amazon has quality replacements that work right out of the package. Saved and the Evil plot by the aliens is defeated.

I bet i’ve bought 20 of them since I have 5 Vizio TV’s! So buy this then buy the silicone glow in the dark covers and you’ll stop losing the backs of the remotes since it holds them on & prevents the remotes from slipping so easily into the couch cushions or between the covers!
