Great powered HDMI splitter. Works with Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, etc) – I bought this unit so that I could share my screen through my ATEM Mini for my live streaming and other videos I record. My only complaint about this is that it knocks the signal from 75 down to 60Hz. Other than that, I am very happy with it.

Cheaper out on the power supply. – This is the third one of these I’ve purchased. The first two came with a power supply. This last one came with a usb cable. What the heck. This thing sits behind your tv, does it’s job and collects dust. You don’t carry it around and charge it up at the airport or Starbucks like a cell phone. Other than that all three work. I have one splitting a Satellite output in my basement. Another doing the same thing in my RV. This last one didn’t work the first try but is working fine now. Hope that’s not a bad omen. I had to switch my main tv to output 2 and it worked. Don’t know if that was the problem but it’s working so I’m not going to mess with it anymore. Anyway, four stars just because of the usb cable.

Plug and Play – I had intended to order a unit that had a 110V power adapter instead of this one that requires a user-supplied USB charger. I realized my mistake later and decided to just deal with it. This one comes with the cord; just no charger. The unit has a solid feel with an all metal case. It’s very compact. It’s installed in my workshop that has a small loft upstairs. This splitter lets me keep up with my favorite programs as I move between the loft and the main shop. I’ve noticed that the cable box sees the splitter as a receiving device and does not shut down automatically as it did when attached to a single TV. The small TV upstairs and the larger 32″ downstairs are both older 720p models so the integration was seamless. Yeah, old technology but I had them and they serve the purpose. It’s a shop; not a home theater.
