It works fine but flips out when you try to play a YouTube video – So everything was fine until I tried to play a YouTube video which happened to be at lower resolution than I was using. This thing flipped out and the screen went blank then my laptop, In response to being disconnected from the TV, downgraded its resolution because it was using its own built-in display

So far these haven’t dropped sync in show running 1920×1080 – I’ve needed a handful of inexpensive HDMI DA’s for show use for DSM (laptop splits basically), and a lot of the chinesium variants often drop sync or overheat and flash. I’ve had this happen four (4) times with as many different versions. Yes, I could do this correctly and spend the money on Extron, Decimator, Atlona or another main flag but at. $400/ea that wasn’t in the cards. These have performed extremely well when used with a high power USB power supply. In-show they ran seven (7) days on a three way split and didn’t overheat or drop image once. For $20/ea (or there about) I’m very happy and will likely purchase additional units.
