1 star because my stud was in the wrong place.. just kidding!! – Not exactly the easiest mount to install by yourself. When first putting the 55″ led on the mount for the first time was a little suspect. It has a very small contact point. And the two little screws that hold the tv to the mount were a major pain to get started without any help. I wouldn’t recommend installing it alone. I didn’t get quite the range of motion I was hoping for, I get about 45 degree before the edge of the tv hits the wall. I wish I could get another 15 degrees out of it to help with the saturation from the angle. All and all its a good product but by no means perfect.

43″ Fire TV Mount – I used this mount to hang a 43″ Amazon Fire TV in an outdoor enclosed patio on an exterior wall of my home. The mount comes with a good assortment of screws, but the Fire TV comes with its own screws that can be used with this mount. The mount is very sturdy and does not sag, even when fully extended provided it is mounted according to the manufacturers instructions. That means lag bolting the mount into a stud or a concrete wall. Because this mount extends so far from the wall, the weight of the TV dramatically increases the stress on the fastening point when fully extended, so it is absolutely critical to secure it properly. Plastic anchors in drywall are definitely NOT an option for this mount under any circumstances!
