Don’t hesitate, just buy it – I bought this to mount a Sony 85” and it works great. The range of motion is incredible. My TV weighs 100lbs and this thing could hold up to 200 lbs I think. I put most of my weight on it to test it and it didn’t budge. I weigh 193lbs.

Holds an 85″ TV no problem – This mount is amazing. Using 5 lag bolts screwed in to wall studs, it provides solid enough support for a a very large TV cantilevered up to almost 3 feet from the wall. It provides enough adjustment in every angle to square up the TV properly.

Great for large TV – I have a 65″ TV located between two cabinets that are 20″ deep. As the TV serves both the living room and the kitchen/dinette area, I wanted to rotate it ~ 45 degrees. Unfortunately, mounts that extended only 24″ from the wall wouldn’t work due to the cabinets surrounding the TV. This mount allows me to get the 45 degree rotation while maintaining a full view of the screen.

There are screw holes all across the the mounting plate and there is a large paper template provided that show these. The hardest part is planning the vertical and horizontal location your set will end up in and mounting the bracket to achieve that. For larger sets this mount is designed for, you will need at least two people to mount the set.
