Doesn’t move side to side like the instruction says – The wall anchor included is of cheap variety, I would definitely not mount tv with their included wall anchors. Ended up having to go to home depot to buy a better wall anchor, just because the studs are 18 ft apart and the mount is only 16 ft long.

Great for my Frame Tv, but doesn’t have a motorized turn function – This worked out pretty well for my frame tv. No issues with installation and didn’t need to buy anything extra. Definite win. However, I wish I could use the remote to swivel the tv to the left and right. If it’s manually swivelled and I use the remote to pull it back up, it will straighten the tv, which is great, but seems like it’d be easy to add in a motorized swivel function if it can already do that.

Works great!! Wish it had an adjustable base tho – I love this TV mount!!! It works exactly as advertised and was easy to install. Only thing is, if you are mounting a huge TV (mine is 65″), make sure to mount it in the studs. But in order to do that, your TV mount base might not be centered. So you would have to use special screws and/or plywood to make it solid to mount securely. I had to take everything back down and start again after I mounted it because I was told by several professionals that the plastic anchors that come with the TV won’t cut it in the long run to hold such weight of the TV and mobility of the mount. That being said, my TV was up for like 48 hours and the mount and everything was very secure before I found out that information. My brother was playing with the remote making it go up and down several times and it seemed very sturdy. But I wanted to re-mount it just for my own piece of mind and not to ruin my walls later down the line. I do wish this TV mount had an adjustable base so that the base could be off-centered in order to be in the studs but the TV itself could be centered. That way it would eliminate the need for all these extra accommodations I had to make. Also wish the swivel and tilt ability was motorized and remote controled as well, as opposed to being manual. Overall, love this TV mount and my family is obsessed/fascinated lol!

Poor attachment point for handles that strips easily. – Allen screws that attach the raise/lower handle to the mount frame are poor/cheap (aluminum frame) design and are easily stripped. Good for one time setting but won’t take multiple adjustments or much force. Now we have to grab the bottom of TV to raise or lower.

Its big and heavy and sticks out from the wall quite a bit – I hate a fireplace in a room that you want a TV in as they don’t mix well. I found this mount and thought it might solve my issue. I don’t think the issues I have are with the mount. I think the mount needs to be as big as is is because of the TV weight and how it works. The mount does have some drawbacks. My TV has mounts at the bottom half of the TV so the mounting brackets have limited range. The instructions were basic, but its a TV mount. I was able to figure it out. I wish I had found a mount that would fit closer to the wall, come out just far enough to clear the mantle, and then drop down.
