Everything I wanted and more – This mount is everything I wanted. When pushed up it fits cleanly above my fireplace and doesnt take up space in the room. When down, it sits at a great viewing angle. Installation was fairly straight forward. I like that it has adjustable stops for angling the TV when down. No worries that it will swivel and hit the mantel. The only issue for me is super minor, when pulling down the resistance feels off and unsteady before it starts moving and smooths out and works as planned. I may need to tweak the tension adjustment a little more, but I think its just the large size of the TV and everything has to flex to overcome the tensioner force.

Just flat out awesome – Installed this above a tall fireplace mantel and have been using it for 6 months. Easy enough to lift and pull down for my 12 year old. Makes movie viewing less straining on the neck and allows the tv to be out of the way when entertaining or your kids/pets are playing. The left to right swivel is great for reducing glare or making it easier to view from side seating. It definitely takes two adults to install and lift the tv into place. Highly recommend!
