Weird design – I like everything about it except one thing. It covers up remote buttons! Why would anyone design a remote cover for a specific style remote that does that?

Love this remote! – This was perfect. I like it better than the remote that came with my TCL TV set. The original remotes arrows rubbed off and it had a hard plastic feel. This has rubber buttons that are quality. I had previously ordered a remote that seemed compatible, but then found out there were no volume control buttons. It didn’t work with a TV set.

Great!! – Finally decided to replace remotes for both our Roku TV’s, and I’m glad I did! Got tired of using our phones as remotes on bedroom TV, and the kids need a new one for the downstairs TV. Paid more for the remote that has the prime shortcut since that’s the only thing we use. These remotes worked great out of the box, and there was no programming needed since they’re not a WiFi remote. Got fancy silicone covers with hanging loop, as I’m tired of searching for the kids’ remote that blends in with everything and gets smashed into the falling-apart couch!

No set up needed. – This is an international remote control for Roku TVs so as long as your TV has been using similar remote controls, you should be able to use this right away after putting the batteries in. I really love the buttons that are on the remote so you can switch apps with ease without needing to go to the home page.

Worked right away, right out of the packaging. – I put the batteries in, and I was instantly able to start using my TV again without the Roku app. The remote works the same as my original remote, but the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is two small issues. First is that I’m unable to control my soundbar with this remote, like I could with my original remote. I never had to do any programming to get the original remote to work with the soundbar, so I’m not sure why this one doesn’t do the same thing. Second is that the clicks are a little loud for my liking, but I’ll get over it. Great replacement Roku TV remote all around though. I definitely recommend this for anyone who’s original remote randomly stopped working, like mine did.

New remote worked out of the gate and even after I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled the original remote I prefer the replacement one.
