Much better picture than Samsung. – Replaced Samsung that failed after 2.5 years. LCD screen on Samsung was 30% dark. Always buy LG as the picture is so much better than Samsung products. NanoCell is much more vivid than an LCD screen.

Pushes invasive spyware to use this TV – Below is my original 1 star review. I found out that some buttons on the remote will cause the popup requiring that you agree to invasive spyware. For example, if you want to talk to your remote instead of pushing buttons. I upgraded this to 3 stars.

No instructions on how to navigate the controls of this product – It is infuriating that LG does not include an owner’s manual on how to operate this tv. I will never buy another LG without the manual. Can’t even find one online. Profits????

Good for now. Awkward Interface – I have several LG TVs in my house. I generally like them, but their so-called “smart” features can be a PITA when you just want to watch TV. I mostly watch over-the-air broadcast TV, but my house mates watch all sort of streaming services. When I turn it on in the morning, there are too many damn buttons and procedures to go through before simply watching good old “TV.”. Why cant they have a simple “TV” button like they used to and like their supposedly not-so-smart ancestors have? Other than this software difficulty, I guess it is fine. I would warn prospective home owners who want to install this by themselves that this is a larger piece of equipment, My fiancée kept shouting she was going to drop it while trying to hoist it onto a wall mount. Fortunately she held on, but we both left sweat marks all over the TV screen in our struggle to mount it.

Much more than we expected! – Did lots of homework researching the OLEDs, QLEDs, and the LG NanoCell and then chose the LG and couldn’t be more impressed. Outstanding picture quality, good internal sound reproduction, very easy to set up and use. The shipping was excellent and very fast (arrived two days after ordering!). 5 stars all the way!

Obviously this was not the sellers fault and luckily someone was home and noticed the truck driving away. The LG Nanocell 80 series arrived way ahead of schedule by about a week. The box was undamaged and was packaged well. The picture is incredible compared t my old TV. We use Roku and the picture is great whether you go through the smart tv or the Roku stick. The remote is a little difficult to get used to but like all things I’m sure this will come with time. Definitely needed two people to get the TV out of the box and set up but it was pretty easy to get done. Once out of the box the TV was really easy to set up and didn’t take much time to update and get going. Overall I’m pretty happy with the TV and would buy again from this seller.
