Needed to ditch the adjustable – Originally I mounted my 55 inch TV with an adjustable (tilt and turn) mount. When I decided to upgrade my television, I decided to also upgrade the mount to one that does not turn. The new tv is 10 inches larger and quite thin. This mount can hold a variety of sizes and weights including my Samsung 65″. Multiple bolt points allow you to secure into 2 x 4’s set 16″ apart. The brackets attach to the television with several size bolts to choose from depending upon your television make and model.

The angle adjustment – It’s easy to use but very difficult to get it to evenly pivot on both sides. I adjusted it multiple times and just couldn’t get it to sit so the bottom of the tv was the same spacing away from the wall so it’s a little off. A frame with a better design would probably work better but what do you expect for less than $30.

Have hung 4 TV’s on this mount – This is a pretty well made mount. I’ve hung 3 new 40″ TV’s and 1 older (heavy) 32″. The only thing I dislike about it is the “pulls” that hang down out from under the TV. Also, if you’re installing this yourself don’t even bother with the included level. Just use your own level.
