Terrific value – My wife and I lived in a hotel for a month while we looked for a new home after moving across country. We got used to a 47″ TV in bedroom. So when I set up our new 43″ Hisense, my wife was a little disappointed (even though the one we used to have in the bedroom at the old house was an ancient 35″). I like it just fine.

Good Budget 4K TV – After initially receiving a unit with a cracked screen I got a working replacement within a few days. This is my third Hisense brand 4K TV (I still have and use the other two for different rooms in my home). To me the image and sound quality are great for everyday viewing of TV shows and Movies. I’m sure there will be dedicated home theater enthusiasts or gamers out there who will find fault with the image and sound quality but I think it is just fine for the average user. I love the Roku integration and it works great! I have read negative reviews of people saying they had to pay to use a roku account. I have personally not found this to be the case. What people may be encountering are the “upsells” of various premium subscription services roku tries to push upon activation which people think they need to select but actually can just skip (and no you don’t need to provide any credit card number either). The low price of the TV is the biggest draw, but also leaves questions about long term reliability. However, my oldest Hisense 4K TV is still working fine after 6 years, so hopefully this is a good sign for the Hisense brand overall.

Great value for 4K TV. – For the price, it’s hard to complain about what you get with this 43″ TV. It has a good picture, a small frame bezel and is very lightweight. It’s fast. After setup, it powers on and is usable in about 2 seconds. Also, the Roku unit in the 4K TV models has their best, snappiest hardware so the user interface on this TV is incredibly fast too. I occasionally use my TVs as a secondary PC monitor so I also bought this model over others due to the reviews showing it to be a good PC monitor with low input lag. (I have not tested yet)
