Restricted Android OS fuctionality – I was actually looking for a wall clock/annunciator/picture frame. Thought this would be like an Android tablet. It is not. More like a TV w/ Fire Stick or Ruku. Blocks loading common apps like time display, Firefox and Chrome. May be a good TV, but will have to add computer via HDMI to get functionality.

Slow response to config menus, weird non-intuitive navigation, but decent TV once set up – Very slow and non-intuitive navigation of setup menus makes setup a chore. I was “chief of systems engineering” for years, but it took me about an hour and a half to figure out how to import the config xml for a single app (IP Camera Viewer Pro). Fast start guide has no information about local storage or how to use USB storage. Very slow responses to button pushes exacerbate the non-intuitive navigation, as it takes a long time to figure out how it acts as opposed to how you would expect it to act.

Not a good option for streaming – The wifi connection for this is pathetic. It keeps losing signal. I can stream to my tablet better than this.

Not a keeper – I found it on sale for less than $200 and bought it. Cut cable and rely on streaming. The picture is good. The sound not so good/sound is muffled but I bought a sound bar and it’s great now. Have to disconnect the sound bar to connect the Xbox. The remote will make you feel like throwing it down the garbage disposal. The software that runs the tv is awful, glitchy and often unresponsive. It’d restart on its own, or interrupt a movie to go to the start screen. You try to turn the tv on and nothing happens. Keep pressing ‘on’ and suddenly the tv comes on and turns off. The remote/tv combo is the worst. But when it’s not glitchy, it offers great picture and the sound bar works great. You get what you pay for.

Decent tv for decent price – Really just happy to have my 1st and own tv otherwise tbh this isn’t my 1st choice it was an on budget purchase and it filled my need but yes it isn’t the greatest quality the volume can get loud at just its lowest but I feel that sound effects can drown out voicelines and standard audio, it’s full HD so no 4K which is obviously more attractive to look at but obviously you get what you pay for, but if you’re not one to choose quality over price then this is the tv for you it’s not the worst it’s still a smart tv so you have alot of streaming options thru the remote so you don’t have to fiddle around

Great Value! – This is my first smart tv and I’m quite happy with my purchase! I was able to login my Google, YouTube, and Hulu accounts using my Android phone which was amazingly convenient. I’m able to cast videos from my phone and iPad. I use my ipad for my workout app, obé and just use the regular casting method. I’m still trying to figure out voice control, so I can’t speak on that. The only thing I don’t love is the sound. The speakers are in the back and make it sound muffled bouncing off the wall behind it. I definitely recommend and will likely purchase a sound bar for clearer audio. It is very loud though, and I find myself keeping it at an 1/8th of the possible volume in most apps. I use Amazon prime, YouTube, and Hulu as our tv choices. I love that the remote has prime video, YouTube and Google play store on it. I don’t use Netflix and wish I could change that button to open Hulu. Maybe I can, but I haven’t looked into it yet. It has an apps button to take me directly to the app screen which is super convenient. It has a Bluetooth pairing button, but I wish it had a voice command button too. The Bluetooth button is great for pairing my headphones, which is super useful after the kids go to sleep since I live in an apartment. I like the air console app to play games using my phone as a controller, but it doesn’t work outside the app. There seems to be a way to make it work, but all the videos are in Hindi and I’d rather just buy a gamepad. The Open Browser app allowed me to connect to the web quite easily. I like that it suggests free movie and tv apps like Pluto tv and vudu in the play store. Take note of your model number and serial number On the back of the tv before setting up so that it’s easier to register the product. I wish that had been listed on the box or instructions since I set mine up on a high shelf and had to take it back down to find the code. Overall, it’s a great purchase and I can’t wait to explore the gaming features!
