Easily Goes the Distance – I needed to use a TV 75 feet away from the computer to display presentation slides. The longest distance that a reliable HDMI signal can be sent is 25-50 feet, depending on what internet source you believe. This extender did the job and set up was a breeze. Be sure you use a good quality Cat6 ethernet cable to connect the transmit and receive units. It works so well, I immediately bought another one to send camera signals to the computer for streaming meetings.
