No better reception than cheaper digital antenna – Purchased this because our other $7 digital antenna from Best Buy would constantly go fuzzy during NFL games on basic local stations. Figured this amplified antenna would be better than the non-amplified cheaper antenna from Best Buy. Wrong. Both antenna’s found 61 channels (not bad) as we live in a large city, however, the reception is no better with this amplified antenna than the cheaper antenna we had previously. It still goes in and out of reception just as poorly no matter. We bought the “small” version, and it’s still quite big (roughly 12 inches in diameter). Tried different positions through the living room as well; window position seems to work the best. Disappointed that this antenna is no better than the other cheaper alternative. It works, but don’t expect perfect signal.

Works well – This is an ok antenna (got the large). Easy to install. Works best in or near window. Advertised range is absurd as it only works line of sight, not through the earth curvature so DO NOT expect such range.

Meets the need – Tired of providers having battles with the local tv stations so I bought this for those times when the signal is blocked. Very easy to install. Once I figured out what “input” I had on my TV, I found several channels that I wasn’t expecting. Picture quality is very good— occasional blips in reception but not to the point of a concern. Definitely recommended

Works through my wall – I read in the mounting instructions that I can place this against an outside wall and get signals. I doubted that because I’d always thought I needed to mount to a window. I placed this against a wall and all my TV channels show up. Only one time, during snow flurries, I had to move it to the window to get a good signal. When there, as I originally planned to use it, all was great. I’m about 20 miles northeast of the TV towers, and the wall is pointing east, so not a direct line to the towers.

Still not strong enough! – The picture was find when I first hooked it up to the TV in the Basement. I put it in the window so there wouldn’t be any wall or bricks to interfere with the reception. But, low and behold later that night the picture on some of the channels started showing pixels and the “No Signal”on some of them. Not to mention that if I am stand next to the TV, the picture will clear up but, No sooner then I sit down, it starts back again to cut out. I tried moving the cord and it worked. But, that did not last long either. I must say, I can see some Channels just find albeit, not the one I want. And it’s better than the other Antenna I have but, I know I will be jumping up and down with trying to watch something on a channel that just doesn’t have a good signal. Well, at least until I can get a more expensive outdoor antenna for the rooftop and I will keep my fingers crossed that this will work until then. I will be doing a lot of jumping up and down on the days it will not work to get a picture. It just too close to the Holidays and too cold to fight with it now.

Works Great! – For the price this is a very good indoor antenna. Picture quality is very good and installation was very easy except the mounting sticker pads didn’t hold for more tha five minutes. Had to use carton sealing tape to attach the antenna to the window frame. My advice would be to mount the antenna as high up on an outside wall as possible. The antenna brought in 37 digital channels but only the strongest were good enough to watch. Weather, terrain and obstacles such as buildings and trees affected the picture guality.
