Simple and Well Made – A simple install, the instructions were honestly well written, I appreciated the color coding and tabs to indicate what went where. The idea is great, and this is honestly super easy to install. I think if I were to do it again, I might purchase some kind of tubing to go into the wall as I had to use fish tape to get HDMI cables run. Overall, quality product and very pleased.

If you have thick drywall, installation of the lower box may be difficult – Now that I’ve completed our install (with the help of a friend who is skilled at home improvement) I will mention something that others have commented on in the reviews I DID NOT READ before I ordered. This kit is a nice solution but there is a design issue that makes installation difficult. Our drywall is thicker than average due to a plaster-like coating. As a result, we initially could not get the lower panel to fit because the junction box affixed to the panel does not have enough clearance when you try to rotate the panel into place. We fixed this by cutting a bevel in the drywall opening, but that improvisation comes with the risk of breaking the edge of the opening in the drywall. Fortunately, I had good help and we got it done, but caution is advised before ordering.

Awesome additional to the home where TVs are located – Easy to install, easy to follow instructions, and makes your setup look extremely clean. Talked to a home theater company before ordering this to get a quote for floating and mounting 4 TVs. They quoted me around $1500 to mount 4 TVs including equipment (mounts, cable kits, and labor). In the quote, they were charging $105 each for these cable kits. But they left the part # in the quote. I came and looked on Amazon and saw these for $45. Bought 4 of them. Decided to take on the project myself and happy that I did. Saved a ton of money. Much easier install than you would think.

Perfect! (Except a couple of nit-picks…) – In our last house I paid an electrician (and friend) $100 just to install an AC outlet behind our wall-mounted TV. This kit was roughly half that cost! Now, you WILL need a little sheet-rock saw (which I had), stud finder (had that too) and a few other common tools. Using the supplied paper template it’s easy to mark the wall and make the cuts.

Amazing – Simple perfect. Super easy to do as long as you follow there exact directions. Once the templates were up and measured the distance between the two and match it up to the existing outlet it was super easy to install with the wires even matching each other so you didn’t wire it wrong.
