Great converter – This thing is awesome. Great for PS2 to HDMI (obviously) not only for convenience but for the graphics as well. Some games will look better than others but most of the PS2 games have an Interlaced option in the display settings to make them sharper which is awesome. If you have the component cables and need them HDMI, just go with this. I’d recommend have it plugged into either a wall outlet or a power strip/surge protector. You can plug it in via USB and power it but depending on what your plugging it into you will get blinking/flashing every once and awhile. Give this constant power at the 5v or 6v it needs and you will have no issues

Looks great when it works — problem is that isn’t all the time – EDIT AUG 30, 2020: BlueSky graciously followed up with me immediately after I reported problems. They swiftly sent me a replacement adapter in hopes to alleviate my screen flickering issues. The replacement adapter did not correct my issues, but the replacement power cable it came with DID! The original source of the buzzing must have been a bad power connection, as the buzzing no longer persists. I am happy to report that I can now play rhythm games without any visual defects. It works as I initially expected, and looks great. I had no idea they would reach out with such excellent customer service, but I am beyond ecstatic that they did.

Perfect for retro systems on modern displays! – I got 2, one for my og xbox and the other my ps2. My current tv only supports hdmi which sucks. But with these i was able to switch the signal over and then route all my devices into 1 central hdmi switch. As long as these guys stay plugged in all i gotta do to play xbox or ps2 is change my switch to the appropriate input and turn on the console! Exactly what I wanted!
