A decent 32″ option but keep your expectations to a minimum – After seven years my bedroom tv finally started to show its age, although smaller than what I had, the Caixun EC32T1H 32” seemed like an acceptable choice since 32” is my ideal size for a bedroom. Given I had never heard of this brand before I did a quick search and discovered that it’s an established electronics company out of China that recently has entered the American market, so I decided to try it.

Pretty decent entry level LCD Non Smart TV. Lackluster Audio Quality. – This is the TV for someone who doesn’t want any smart system. It’s a small format TV and has only 720p native resolution. It can downsample 1080p sources and it does look a little better than just a 720p input resolution. The pictures in the review are shown as 1080p. The TV is super lightweight. It’s much lighter than any TV of its size I’ve felt. Good for mounting. It has a VESA mount which makes mounting a cinch. The settings/controls are pretty complete and do affect the picture and audio accordingly. It only has a power button on the unit. You’ll have to use the included remote for any further interaction. They can be adjusted to your liking and preference. I did have good luck plugging in a Fire TV Stick and the remote worked right away to control power and volume. The TV has 2 usb ports and I was able to power my FireTV Stick with one of them. Nice feature to keep your cords to a minimum. It comes with an HDMI and power cable to get started right away. You can install the legs easily with a screwdriver and the included screws to fasten the legs. Seems to match the energy guide and has a low power consumption. I didn’t notice any ghosting or frame issues. The sound is a little hollow but to be expected for this size and price range. Will work great as a child or guest room TV. Be sure to carefully take off the screen protector as it does affect picture quality.

Wouldn’t work with a firestick – Purchased as a deal on Black Friday. When it arrived, I plugged in an existing older firestick I had and waited for it to cycle through. It never made it past the initial launch screen before a blue screen would pop up and automatically relaunch the firestick launch process. It did this over and over. I bought a brand new latest gen firestick and same exact issue. I returned tv thinking I had a defective tv and requested an exact replacement. When it arrived, I experienced same exact error. I uploaded a video to show my experience. Getting my money back and ordering a new one from a different brand. I don’t recommend.

(A preposition is something you don’t end a sentence with) The unit arrived promptly, was well-packaged against damage, and easy to set up. 4 screws to affix the 2 legs and plug in the unit and an HDMI cable to our Roku and we had a cord-cutter’s heaven.
