These just work! – We have tried so many things and these are by far the best. they just work.

Works perfectly for our steaming needs – We use this with a Black Magic camera for streaming our functions at school. Very happy with size and easy of use. Just plug it in and it works. We don’t use the SDI pass-through feature now, but if we expand our system it is good to know we have that option. Power indicator is handy to know that it is operating.

Great converter from an SDI run to an HDMI display. – This converter handles both video and sound. It also has a passthrough for the SDI line, which allowed us to tap off the SDI line for an HDMI display and then continue on with another SDI line. It produced good signal strength on both the HDMI and SDI output ports. Blackmagic makes very solid, metal-enclosed, converters. We’ve purchased and used a number of them over the past several years.

Turn them off when not in use! They last wayy longer. – Don’t forget! They last longer if you turn them off when not in use. I run mine with TV usb power so it’s only on when the TV is. These little converters are the best!

We’ve left it plugged in and powered up 24/7 for several months to convert SDI video from a satellite receiver to HDMI for a standard cheap consumer TV, and it’s still working as intended with no fuss. Fair value for the money.
