It helps. – This antenna made it possible for me to listen to my favorite FM radio station. I am on a fringe area and reception is not good no matter what. The antenna worked fine. You must position it carefully. I ended up sticking to the wall behind the radio with a bit of double face foam tape after exploring various placements. The station was then available.

Harman Kardon HK3480 Fail! – Did improve reception if you can hold in place. Center pin on F-male connector slightly too large for my Harman Kardon receiver connection.

It has good feedback radio reception – Unlike the other three Chinese made radios I have bought online in the past four weeks, this one actually works. I can’t comment on “sturdiness” as I’ve only had it for a few days.

Worked for me – I was doubtful that this antenna would work for me because it’s much smaller than other fm dipoles I’ve seen and I’ve tried three or four other more expensive ones, but it worked great. I work in an old mill that has horrible radio reception, only could receive two stations inconsistently and the one I wanted was the worst of the two. This antenna pulls in the station reliably, no more fading out or static.

Improved FM signal – I got the Bingfu FM dipole antenna to replace the cheap wire antenna that came with my Denon receiver.

Better than the OEM – I bought this in order to get better FM radio reception with my Onkyo TX-NR6050 which comes with a simple single wire antenna. I live in a brick sided building and I’m located in a low lying area outside the Denver Metro area and reception here is normally not the best to begin with so I wasn’t getting much in the way of FM stereo signals. I don’t listen to thr radio a lot as it is but it’s still nice to have good reception when I do want to use it so I figured that an upgrade to the Onkyo antenna would be a good solution. This does pick up quite a bit more stations however it still struggles a bit with good stereo reception however I don’t believe that it is the quality of this antenna that is the cause of it, it’s mostly my location and the building I’m in. This is definitely an upgrade to the OEM from what I see so if you either don’t have one at all or want better than the basic single wire that comes with most receivers, this will fit the bill however I also do believe there are probably still better options albeit more sophisticated and costly. It’s all relative to what your needs are but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again for mine.

Fit for use – I own a Bose Wave radio of an early vintage – a Series III I think. I recently moved it into a room in the basement, which is about 3/4 under ground. I placed the radio sup against a wall away from the windows. Point being that it is not in a place where it can get a good FM signal. The sound from the radio had a fuzzy undertone.
