Absolutely works – There is an interesting feature about this product which is not at all apparent and for some reason, the manufacturer keeps quiet about. After a great deal of difficulty, I eventually found the sensor on the front of my Denon AVR-X3700H receiver and stuck the BAFX contact to it. Although the BAFX was clearly working, it was somewhat hit and miss getting the IR contact pad in the exact position. The result was that multiple hits of the remote were required to get the Denon unit to work. Frustrating when changing the volume etc. This problem is not the fault of BAFX. The problem lies with Denon and other manufacturers who do nothing to help the consumer find that annoying sensor on their units.

It works well but the adhesive is poor. – This product I have been buying for several years. I am an a/v installer and have had zero problems with this manufacturer. In this installation, I had to lengthen the cable and it still worked without any issues. There is one part of the product that adheres to the underside or side of the TV and uses an adhesive strip to bind to the TV. Wherever I placed it, it fell off. In the past this adhesive strip was strong but the company must be using a new formulation. The only way that I got the unit to stay in place was to silicon it right-side up on the speaker bar below. It was more obtrusive but was not going to come to the client’s house another time to fix something that was not my problem.
