Nice quality – The ends seem to be of good quality. The picture quality was good. The cable is pretty flexible but kind of thick honestly. I really should have purchased a 3 foot cable for my application so I have a little extra but it’s not too bad.

heavy duty! – I was expecting the cable to be about 3/16″ diameter, like th3 3-footer I got at Best Buy, but this thing is about 7/16″ in diameter. You could almost tow a car with it ! It is precisely as advertised, and if I’d looked closely enough at the specs, I’d have realized how heavy it would be. It works great, though! Excellent value. Buy two, and keep on in your car for emergencies! (Just kidding, but barely.)

AMD driver timeout issue due to HDMI cable – I bought this cable in 2017. At that time this cable may have been rated only for 1080p/60Hz operation and I didn’t have any issues. Lately I used it on my BenQ EX2780q (2560×1440@144Hz max) at 1440p@120Hz with an AMD Vega 56 GPU under Windows 10. That’s when trouble started.

There is no need to buy more expensive HDMI cables – Please do not waste your hard earned money on overpriced HDMI cables in the name of picture or sound improvements. I currently am using these AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI cables to connect our Yamaha v379 AV receiver to other HDMI enabled devices that link back to our 4K Samsung Smart TV and these have performed flawlessly.

Why use 10′ cables when 3′ is enough? – OK, here’s my cojnfiguration: I have two 32″ monitors – one arranged in the usual ‘Landscape’ orientation, the other in ‘Portrait’ orientation. They are next to each other. I often need to look at PDFs of text pages from old magazines etc. where the origination is vertical. When you bring up the PDF on a landscape display you looks a large percentage of the page. So I slide it over to the vertical display. In some circumstances I may need to use an alternate PC for some reason. I can mix/match source and displays via various switches. I only need short cables to connect all of this, otherwise I have a mess of intertwined cables. These were perfect.
