Good basic copper wire . – Has cool length markings every foot.

Larger diameter than expected. – Good quality cable if diameter is not a concern. Insulation is much thicker than equivalent speaker wires using plastic or PVC insulation. Not recommended for running inside walls. The Neoprene rubber insulation will harden over many decades, eventually cracking when flexed. The added friction of the outer jacket makes it very difficult to pull through conduit. Overall sound quality is very good, and the 12-gauge wire keeps loss to a minimum, especially for longer runs.

Great wire, sounds good – Perfect. The white coating is kind of annoying because obviously 2 wires twisted and then wrapped is stiff, but it is very useful in protecting the wires in tight areas. I just stripped the white coat where I needed flexibility. Other than that my sound system is awesome.
