They work. – What more can you say? I just purchased a new television, DVD player, soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers. As long as I was replacing my existing setup with everything new, I figured I would get new HDMI cables so everything was new. I’m unsure if I like the braided cable design. I guess time will tell. I would have preferred a cable that was easier to keep free of dust but the quality of the smooth cables I found seemed lacking. I’ll see how these work out and if they don’t hold up, I will update my review.

Eliminated blackouts on ps4 pro to vizio – This was a last ditch effort to get rid of the famous screen blackouts on my ps4 pro. They are famous for communication errors to vizio smart tv’s and causing no picture for seconds to up to even 20 minutes or longer and rapid flashing. I tried doing a hard factory reset on the TV and playstation, several new parts, and even upgraded the hard drive. Everything generally improved the blackouts but never got rid of them. I was so frustrated with it that I refused to play games for over a year because of how bad it was. After buying this cable, it has completely stopped and I haven’t had a single issue since. Mind you, my old cable was a playstation approved gaming hdmi but just didn’t have the transfer rate for my sensitive TV. Highly recommend this cheaper option first over going into the extreme like I did.

Works As Intended – Tested with my LG C2 and PS5. It passed through a 120hz signal at 4K. It also passed through Dolby Vision/Dolby True HD when tested with my Panasonic 820. Picture looked great, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. “Certification” was stuck on the little baggy that the cable came in which was kind of odd, but not entirely unusual. Seems to be a fully functional hdmi 2.1 cable.
